Lost, but found
You can count on one thing for certain – Texas weather can change in a split second! As I’m writing this, Texas is shivering with sub-zero wind chills. Hot as the dickens one day, freezing the next. Same with storms, and we’ve had several humdingers of storms in East Texas recently.
Let’s think about it for a minute...
The following was found in the Pittsburg Gazette on December 30, 1892. As the sentiments written are still our own, and we do not feel capable of expressing them any better though 130 years later, we reprint them verbatim.
Christmas Lights
I think we can all agree that this year has had rather dark undertones. From cancellation or modification of annual events, quarantines and financial issues to hospitalizations and death from a virus that, at the beginning of the year was unknown, the year has taken a toll on all of us in one way or another.
