Snack mix philosophy
Ideas for my articles come from a variety of places. I may get an idea from music, or something I hear on the radio, or it may come from situations that I see occurring in the world today. This week, it is snack mix. Snack mix, trail mix, Chex mix, bar mix; there are many different names, but they are all pretty much the same. I bet you did not realize a life lesson could be found hiding amongst the peanuts, rye chips, and snacky goodness, did you? Well, I am about to tell you.

Living on the Edge
I consider myself a music lover. I love many different styles of music, and there is always a song or two that seems to hit me where I am at. I have “favorite” songs and artists in everything from country to classic rock and pop. I have even been known to mix in a few instrumental pieces from time to time.
