Today, in place of my morning walk, I’ve decided to amble around the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution. This excursion will be far from scholarly, of that you can be certain.
When blossom end rot occurs, it’s usually due to improper watering. Not as common, but just as devastating is a calcium deficiency. Even if you quickly get calcium in the ground, blossom end rot will at least intermittently continue. Non-affected fruit slowly returns to the norm. So, why didn’t the liquid or powdered calcium immediately stop the problem?
It’s no surprise that the pandemic has affected the economy as unemployment rates continue to soar and economic output has plunged these past few months. As a result, the U.S. has officially gone into recession, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Better Business Bureau serving Central East Texas (BBB) advises consumers to work toward becoming fiscally savvy during this uncertain season.
While businesses are opening back up and restrictions for COVID-19 protections are loosening, the virus is still running rampant in some states. Many cities are experiencing a “second wave” of COVID-19 diagnoses.
Statues are quickly disappearing from America’s landscape – sometimes removed by government officials, other times by unruly mobs. But statues are not the only forms of art falling in response to the most recent racial tensions in our country. Historic paintings featuring racist or racially insensitive images are being taken down. Books are being boycotted. Old television shows and movies are being removed from circulation.
