AUSTIN — Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the state to slow down the reopening process for bars and other venues as coronavirus-related infections, hospitalizations and deaths continued to increase in Texas last week.
I know, that title probably makes you wonder where this column will go. Well, here it is.
I had the joy of interviewing a man last week in my office, and after getting the details I needed, we chatted for a while. We spoke of politics and work in the community, and he said to me, “My grand mother always used to say that if you don’t vote, you can’t curse your congressman. That doesn’t only apply to politics – it’s everything in life.”
