UIL further postpones all events
The University Scholastic League has announced that all events, athletic, academic, and musical will be postponed until further notice. As the situation stands, all UIL contests are suspended until May 4th at the earliest. At this time, all rehearsals, practices and workouts conducted outside the school day, as well as spring football, are postponed also. This means that no rehearsals, practices or workouts outside the school day can be conducted during this time, however, events taking place on a Sunday are still allowed. One Act Play certification deadlines have been pushed back so that schools may compete at a later date. Other events see no change. UIL musical events such as concert and sight-reading contests will be postponed. New event dates for music contests will be chosen after new dates for academic and athletic events have been confirmed.
