The Texas Parks and Wildlife Rangers stocked the Pittsburg Fair Park pond with fish last week and handed out over 50 fishing poles, bobbers, and fish line.
On Friday, February 27, at the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, Pittsburg, there were almost 100 people attending the Nina Johnson Black History Program. Reverend Patrick Lloyd, resident Pastor, led the program. The Negro National Anthem was sung.
Almost 200 hundred students attended the 90 minute program on Friday, February 20. Students were from Pittsburg ISD, Sabine ISD, LaPoynor ISD, Chireno ISD, Hubbard ISD, and Mineola ISD.
