Track Meet Draws Nine Schools
There were nine schools participating in the track meet that took place at Pittsburg High School on Thursday afternoon, February 19. About 150 track team athletes came from Pinetree, Henderson, No Lamar, Paris, Daingerfield, Hughes Springs, Atlanta, Commerce, to join Pittsburg in several competitions.
Rotary hears CASA story
The weekly Rotary Club meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, began with discussion about the Rotary Foundation Banquet in Paris,Texas, on Saturday, February 21. The decision was made to contribute a case of Los Pinos Wine, to include sweet and dry, as the club’s silent auction contribution. Banquet attendees met after the meeting to strategize logistics for attending the banquet.
