The coldest December in Texas in 40 years left gardeners dealing with the ugly aftermath in their gardens and yards.
Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced this week that he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.07 billion in local sales tax allocations for January, 2023, which amounts to 7.6 percent more than in January 2022.
