Though it isn’t quite springtime yet, nothing creates a need for a clean home like a pandemic. Many have chosen to keep their children at home this school year, and though this limits exposure to the virus, it can create messy situations at home.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) celebrated 100 years of UIL Texas high school football this season. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football (DCTF) and the UIL have honored the ‘best, the brightest and the most unforgettable icons and legends in the sport’s illustrious history’.
The Pittsburg Fire Department responded this morning at 10:56 to a reported camper fire at 5244 FM 1520 at the Barefoot Bay RV Park. Units arrived on scene to find a camper fully involved with fire threatening surrounding campers. Firefighters brought the fire under control at 11:16. No occupants were injured in the fire. Red Cross was notified to provide assistance to those displaced by the fire.
