The Pittsburg Pirates boys soccer team advanced in the 4A, Region 1 & Soccer Championship after their 4-2 win over Bullard March. 26.
The Pittsburg Lady Pirates suffered two, double-digit losses in district play last week. The Lady Pirates fell 10-0 at Gilmer on March 23 before losing 18-3 at Pleasant Grove March 26.
Northeast Texas Community College Baseball hit the road Sunday to take on TJC in Tyler and earned a 12-4 win in the first game of the day before falling to TJC 9-6 in game two.
Northeast Texas Community College softball hosted Carl Albert State College in a double header on Wednesday and came away with two wins, NTCC won game one 7-3 and game two 14-8.
Pittsburg High School students Madi Danielson and Brooke Ramsey won the girl’s doubles consolation bracket at yesterday’s Pleasant Grove Invitational tournament. All of the Pittsburg players who participated yesterday played great against some solid teams at this tournament.
