(StatePoint) Planning on retiring single? You aren’t alone. Nearly 22 million Americans age 65 and older were unmarried in 2019, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, representing 41.5% of those in that age category. And for women, it’s more likely to be the case. According to the Administration on Aging, 54% of older women are unmarried, as compared to 30% of older men.
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our Dear Sister Willie Carol Clay who died suddenly on Thursday morning April 22nd at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler Texas.
Michael W. Edwards passed away April 21, 2021 at Pittsburg Nursing Center at the age of 60. His funeral service will be Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Darty as eulogist and burial will be at Piney Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant, Texas under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home, Pittsburg, Texas.
