Over my forty plus years now of being a Christian, it seems that every year about this time we start hearing about the evils of Halloween and how those of us who call ourselves Christians should take no part in the day. The debate has spawned every thing from what we know now as trunk or treats to outright banning of the event and not allowing kids to participate.
If you are like me, you probably spend a good amount of time on social media. Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and so many more that I don’t even have a clue about, all give us various ways to keep in touch with and keep tabs on those we care about.
When God said to Jesus and the Holy Spirit let them, meaning people, have dominion, He meant we have dominion, rights and power. God has never lied nor will He ever lie. He states something one time and His word puts the rule into effect. He gave us dominion which means when God wants to do something on earth He is always looking for man or woman of God to establish His will and Kingdom into the earth through them. Therefore God is always working in us because God has a greater purpose to work through us. He will never give us more than our character and integrity can handle. That’s one reason the Holy Spirit is constantly working us. He is working on us so that God can reveal greater realms of our destiny to us. When God wants to establish something on earth, He is always looking for a willing vessel whose heart is bent towards the things of God. Many people are limited by what they can do for God because they will not allow the Holy Spirit to do a greater work within them.
