The business community has questioned the timing of the proposed PISD bond, stating that the taxes could negatively impact businesses in the community and their ability to remain open. Their concern is based on inflation, current prices, and the recent Covid pandemic that has taken a toll on their companies.

Kids all across America have headed back for another school year. Some are glad (especially the youngsters who think they are “big”), then some not so glad (older kids who think school is boring). However, I bet the parents are, for the most part, happy school is back in session.
