Library Corner
Do you know that the Pittsburg Library has a Genealogy Department? It’s named the Faye McMinn Genealogical Research Center. Most of our books in the Genealogy Department are from Faye McMinn’s personal home library. The Department is open 3 days a week, Monday through Wednesday. We have 3 wonderful volunteers that will help you with family history and the Genealogy Department has many record books on families and states. The Pittsburg Gazette is now online! Call us or stop by to get the information to log on. If you are searching for a relative or someone in Camp County, please send your information to the Pittsburg Library, call, or stop by and visit with one of our volunteers!
Heroes Memorial Bridge to be dedicated
Counting Stars Ranch will be dedicating their Heroes Memorial Bridge on February 24 at 5 p.m. All veterans, military, first responders, and community are invited. Donated by Combat Warriors and built by Barber Construction, the bridge is a memorial to fallen soldiers and first responders.
Walk ON
Anyone who has read any of my columns should know by now that music is a big inspiration for what I write. I keep a running note in my phone of ideas for columns, and most of them are added as I am listening to music.
