Northeast Texas Community College welcomes Artist Chris Brown as the exhibiting artist for October. His artwork will be on display from Friday, October 4th through Wednesday, October 23rd. A public reception will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts.

The National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) Southern Region will have the third rodeo of the 2024-2025 season in Mount Pleasant, Texas October 18th and 19th. Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) will be the host of the Rodeo held at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena located on Greenhill Road in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
