Rudolph Burns was honored with a retirement party on June 9 as he retires from Texas Country Farm Supply. Burns has spent 53 years at the feed store, starting with Pilgrim’s Feed Store when he was about 25, and he stayed with the business through name and owner changes.
Two members of the Pittsburg Rotary Club, Woody and Karen Ray, presented a check from the Club to Shelly Martinez, Operations and Development Associate of the Northeast Texas Child Advocacy Center (NETCAC).
The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular May meeting on Tuesday, May 30th. The board voted to approve Russell East of Lone Star to fill the remainder of the term for Place Four. The position was vacated last month with the resignation of trustee Sid Greer.
