Camp County Judge AJ Mason received the following letter from a member of the community. This letter was read during the regular Commissioners Court on July 26.
Connie Bradshaw, after countless hours and innumerable days spent with the Pittsburg Camp County Chamber of Commerce, is retiring from this position, and will be moving to the next, and perhaps most enjoyable, chapter of her life called Retirement.
Memorial services for Sarah Jane “Sally” Shaffer, 85, of Pittsburg will be 12:30 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the Pittsburg Church of Christ with Caleb Hamrick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Shaffer passed into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, July 18, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends at home.
Philip Lee Gerig, 74, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away on July 21, 2023. He was born on September 25, 1948, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Keith Lavon Gerig and Bernida Brackney Gerig.
