• Pittsburg VFD battles a grass fire spreading over 30 plus acres off Hwy 21. It was started by a spark from a hay baler.
Keith Allen performed in The Alley in downtown Pittsburg on September 8. Several people came down and enjoyed the music and a bite to eat before the storm broke later that evening. This new free concert series hosted by the City of Pittsburg is located right in the center of downtown Pittsburg will spotlight local talent and provide them with a platform to shine. There will be two more concerts this fall, also featuring Keith Allen, on October 6 and November 3 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
