Pittsburg hosted its Trick or Treat on Main celebration last Saturday. Everyone in attendance was able to dress in Halloween costumes, trick or treat at the local businesses and organizations downton, and witness a haunted house set up down The Alley.

Cross Country athletes qualify for state

The varsity girls team consisting of Randieunna Jeffery, Emie Castaneda, Era Osornio, Araceli Moreno, Jocelyn Olmos, Kenley Willis, Haley Reyes,Lynet Jimenez, Sheila Marquez, Mariana Perez, Yesenia Zamaya, and Jackie Favela qualified for the State Cross Country meet by finishing 3rd today at the Regional Meet in Grand Prairie.

Pittsburg holds Chili-Cook Off to fight breast cancer

Pittsburg held its Paint Pitt Pink Chili Cook-Off to raise money for fighting breast cancer. The grand total raised was $5,252, and all proceeds went to April Kirkland who is currently receiving treatment for breast cancer.
