Well, the Primary Election is done, and now we wait and prepare for the upcoming General Election. In case you have been under a rock the last several months, this election is a Presidential Election, and will also include local races that are of importance to Camp County.
I miss winter. You know, the good old fashioned “wrap your shoes in these plastic bags to keep your toes from freezing and breaking off; you better keep your coat on this time; I don’t care if the other kids aren’t wearing mittens; and don’t forget your earmuffs” kind of Texas winter we had when WE were kids.
Funeral services for Pocahontas Belcher were on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 P.M.with Bro. Roy Ford officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to service from 11:00- 12:00. Pallbearers will be: Robert Smith, Randall Smith, Kobe Smith, Kutter Smith, Karter Smith, Mickey Salinas, and Eugene Scott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Cravens and Colton Cravens.
Visitation for Charles Howard Anders, 68, of Pittsburg was from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Arrangements were under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Anders passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at a Pittsburg hospital.
