After months of quickly rising COVID numbers in Titus County, infection rates have slowed. During the free testing held from August 10 to August 30, 1,366 Titus County residents were tested, and only 37 tests were positive.
Influenza, SARS-CoV-2 and other viruses come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and by studying these shapes, scientists can learn how they function and how viral illnesses might be conquered.
