Pirate band brings home the gold
The Pittsburg Pirate Band participated in the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition at White Oak High School on Feb. 25. They brought home a total of 85 medals, and several qualified for state competitions as well.

The Camp County Courthouse, which is six years shy of its 100th birthday, has been undergoing a face lift for roughly five years, and is finally seeing the end of the project.
It was unquestionably not the ending to the regular season either team wanted, but both the Pittsburg Pirates and Lady Pirates will have a chance to turn things around in the playoffs.

The Pittsburg PIrate baseball team hoped to “battle” their way to a fast start in district play. The team did as Pittsburg won its first two district games by a combined two runs.
