Adventurer and nature lover, Gilbert “Gib” Claude Wilson Jr., passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on January 8, 1945, to Ruth Kyle Wilson and Gilbert Claude Wilson in Fort Worth, Texas.
have been thinking a lot about families lately. I have seen friends deal with the loss of their father, and seen others deal with other types of losses. It has been nearly eight years since my daddy finished his battle with cancer. I am grateful I was able to be there at the very end with him. Some of my friends had that same opportunity that I did. Others did not. Some picked up the phone, only to learn that the man they had depended on their entire lives was no longer there.
