Blues on the Bay fundraiser raises over $5,000 for Pittsburg Main Street
Pittsburg Main Street hosted their highly anticipated Blues on the Bay Fundraiser on Saturday, September 9th, at the picturesque Barefoot Bay Marina on Lake Bob Sandlin. The event drew an impressive crowd of nearly 170 enthusiastic attendees.
Letter from the editor
This is my last edition of the Pittsburg Gazette. Thus far, I have worked on a total of 213 papers since I started in July 2021. I am engaged to be married and am planning to move to Longview, and since long hours and weekends don’t mix well with a new family, my husbandto-be won out. Please accept my sincerest thanks for your many kindnesses, and for giving me the benefit of the doubt when I made a mistake--which was often enough I’m sure.
Four arrested on drug charges
Four men were arrested on drug charges on September 9. Approximately 106 grams of a crystal-like substance suspected of being methamphetamine were seized.
