was arrested on September 18 by CCSO for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and credit card abuse.
Texas legislature proposes broadband amendment

During the 2023 legislative session, Texas lawmakers passed the House Joint Resolution 125, which proposes an amendment to the state constitution that would create the “Broadband Infrastructure Fund.” This proposed fund would be a special fund outside of the state’s normal revenue fund and would be funded by allocation from the Texas legislature. The fund would provide a means of financing the development and expansion of broadband infrastructure within the state. If approved by Texas voters, the amendment would take effect on January 1, 2024 and would not exceed a total amount of $5 billion.
