The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 31st. All six members were present. The seventh seat on the board is currently vacant, as Dr. Dan McCauley retired from his position in September. McCauley was on the NTCC Board since 1988 and was the longest- serving trustee in the college’s history.

Certain rooms in the house are on display more than others, with kitchens, dining rooms and living areas serving as popular places to congregate. Of course, fireplaces also serve as popular gathering spots in homes that feature them.

Cappy will step down as CFO effective December 29, 2023 and Shalene Jacobson will become the Company’s next CFO. Shalene joined the Bank in 2016 and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Bank. She will retain that title after her appointment as CFO of the Company.
The City of Pittsburg hosted its highly anticipated annual Trick or Treat on Main event on Saturday, October 28th, drawing in a crowd of over 2000 children and families despite a light drizzle. Main Street transformed into a Halloween wonderland as local businesses set up tables under awnings, generously distributing candy until supplies ran out and the last Trick or Treater made their rounds. The City of Pittsburg extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the businesses that participated, as their support is crucial in making this event a resounding success year after year, fostering a strong sense of community spirit.
