Candidates have filed to be listed on the ballot for the March 5 primary election, which includes seven county-level spots up for election, as well as the State Representative, District 5 position. State Offices State Representative, District 5 Dewey Collier Jeff Fletcher Cole Hefner, Incumbent Camp County Republicans County Attorney James “Jas” Wallace, Incumbent Sheriff John Cortelyou, Incumbent Alan McCandless Michael “Sarge” Sparks County Tax Assessor-Collector Missy Griffin Huffman, Incumbent Mandy Applegate Meade Justice of the Peace Richard Penn County Constable Shawn Kennington, Incumbent County Commissioner, Precinct 1 Jed Hefner County Commissioner, Precinct 3 Perry Weeks, Incumbent No democratic candidates filed for the spots.

Voices of Classic Soul coming to NTCC

AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today directed the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to increase the readiness level of the Texas State Operations Center to Level II (Escalated Response) as the state prepares ahead of multiple weather threats over the next several days.
