WILLIAMS

Mr. Harold Gene Williams, age 85, of Pittsburg passed away at his home on Friday, January 15, 2021 in Pittsburg. He was born May 26, 1935 to John and Addie Lucille Haskins Williams in Crooked Creek Community, Arkansas.

Mr. Williams served in the United States Navy and was a retired preacher.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Matthews Williams of Pittsburg; son, Tommy Caldwell and wife Thelma of Newton, Texas; son-in-law, James Booth; grandchildren, Meloni Morlen, Marci Pierce, Kris Caldwell, Mark Morlen, Tina Caldwell, Melissa Cooper, and Brandi Vega; twenty eight great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lewis Hyde of Arkansas; and sisters, Norma Faye Isbell of Arkansas, Lennie Rutledge of Arkansas, and Theresa Nowlin of Denton.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Vickie Booth; grandson, Jeremey Caldwell; great-grandchild, Catelyn Pierce; brothers, Johnny Williams, Bobby Costley, Gary Costley, Billy Costley; and sisters, Shirley Williams, and Linda Costley.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Cockerham and Bro. Russ Kessler officiating with Graveside Services to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Avery Cemetery in Avery, Texas. There will be a come and go visitation held Monday, January 18, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines must be followed and mask will be required.
