Mickey Taylor, 68, was born on April 16, 1952 in Pittsburg, Texas to Bruce and Ima Gean Stewart and passed away at his home on November 15, 2020.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had worked for Coker Ford, Coca Cola in Texarkana, and as a mechanic for both Atlanta and Pittsburg School Districts.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Taylor of Pittsburg; mother, Imogene Miller Taylor of Pittsburg; step-son and his wife, Robert and Melody Attaway of Pittsburg, Grandchildren, Whitney Attaway, Jacob Attaway, Kyle Attaway, and Matthew Attaway; great grandchildren, Scarlette “Rosebud” and Sawyer “Lil man” ; brother and his wife, Billy and Lizann Taylor of Pittsburg, Sisters, Bridget and her husband John Ribsam, and Sandra Taylor Williams of Weatherford; step sisters, Vickie and Mike Taylor of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Kyle Smith and John Middleton will officiate the service and Davey Minor, Matt Taylor, John Ribsam, Mitchell Mayben, Rex Minchew, Robert Attaway, Jeff Efurd, Ois Kennington, and Billy Taylor will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends between 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Cypress Basin Hospice 207 Morgan Street Mt. Pleasant, Texas 75455

The family request everyone in attendance for visitation and the funeral wear a mask due to Covid-19
