Perry

Steve Perry, 57, of Pittsburg, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2019 in Pittsburg.

Perry was born Dec. 20, 1961 in Corona, Calif. to Thomas and Bertha Smith Perry. He served in the United States Army and worked at Eastex Crude. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

Perry is survived by his wife, Laura Kight Perry; sons, Matthew Perry and wife Ana and Tyler Perry and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Trinity Perry, Tucker Perry and Tydus Perry; his mother, brothers, Alan Perry and wife Lesia, Chris Perry and wife Susan, Scott Perry and wife Tina; and a sister, Lisa Blankenship Logan and husband Keith.

Perry is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Tommy Perry.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg with burial at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg. A visitation was held Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
