Don Osborne, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, TX, passed away on June 17, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 5, 1939 in Waco, TX.

Don was a wealth of knowledge about many things and was always willing to share that knowledge with others. He was always ready to lend a hand to others in need and was a mentor to many. Don’s work ethic and morals far exceeded that of most people and he would work from sun up to sundown, running circles around most 20 year olds. Don had a special compassion for animals. He loved tractors, antiques automobiles, motorcycle racing, auto racing and also constructing and building.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dr. Cathy Cranmore of Mt. Pleasant, TX; brother, Bob Osborne of Waxahachie, TX; brother & sister-in-law, Bill & Christine Osborne of Gatesville, TX.

A celebration of Don’s life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the Tri Lakes Veterinary Clinic.
