James “Jim” Munke, 51, of Pittsburg, went to the Church Triumphant to be with his heavenly father on Friday, No. 30, 2018 at Medical City Plano. Funeral services will be graveside at Moore Memorial Gardens on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 at 2 p.m., officiated by Rev. Hill Johnson.

He was born Nov. 17, 1967 in Ft. Worth to Herbert “Chip” Munke and Teri Munke.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pittsburg, and member of American Legion, PVA, DAV and Mineola Railors Square Dance Club.

He was a retired CPO Hospital man “Corpsman” in the US Navy. He was a guard on an armed car for Wells Fargo.

Mr. Munke is survived by his wife, Tinker Lynn Munke of Pittsburg; parents, Herbert and Teri Munke of Pittsburg; daughter and son-in-law, Miranda “Mandy” and Travis Moore of Bartlett, Tennessee; son and daughter-in-law, James Joe Munke, Jr. and Heather of Memphis, Tennessee; grandson, Chesley Munke of Memphis, Tennessee; Chesley Munke, grandson to James Munke, from Memphis, TN granddaughters, Zoey Moore of Bartlett, Tennessee and Peyton Munke of Memphis, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Lee Munke and grandbaby Moore.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Pittsburg on Dec. 13, 2018 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the James Munke, Sr. Memorial Fund and Tinker Munke at Cypress Bank, 120 S. Greer Blvd., Pittsburg, TX 75686.
