John Keith Kaylor, age 56, of Pittsburg went to his Heavenly home surrounded by his wife and three daughters on May 24, 2021. John was born January 7, 1965 to John N. and Mary Lou Kaylor. John lived a full life creating lots of memories with his friends and family.

John took pride in his hard work ethic and it showed throughout his life. His first job was working for Franklin’s Food store for Johnny and Dot Franklin, John E and Betty Smith at the Smith’s Peach Orchard, Doyce and Ois Kennington at Parker Auto Supply, Bill Coker Ford for Bill Coker and finally, Priefert Manufacturing as a Mill Wright Supervisor working for 25 years.

John is survived by his wife of 36 years Dana, his daughters, Amanda Burns and husband Jarrett, Jaimie Rogers and husband Gerry, and Carley Jo Kaylor and David McNeil; sister, Jan Nelson; mother-in-law, Pat Glover; Sister and Brother-in-law, Kim and Wayne Prince; grandchildren, Ally, Avery, Gerratt, Kaydi, and Addyson; niece and nephews, Kristie Bly and husband Thor, Trenton Holloway-Glover and wife Cienna, Jessie Thompson, Wyatt Prince, Jacob Nelson, Stormy Bly, and Corbin Bly; along with several other family members

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Lou Kaylor, his father-in-law, Don Glover, and brother-in-law, Wes Nelson.

Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg with Johnny Simmons officiating. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Those serving as pallbearers were, David Smith, Kent Martin, Phil Richardson, Pat Honzell, Nate Priefert, Clint Collier, James Buck, Donald McCain, and Greg Efurd. Honorary pallbearers were Willard Kaylor, Bill Kaylor, Phil Scudder, Buddy Scudder, Randy Hargrove, Heath Hargrove, Justin Hargrove, Buddy Blankenship, Tommy Fink, Jayson Farmer, Scotty Loftis, Kelly Donnelly, and Priefert Employees. There was a visitation held from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
