Hooper

Mr. Charles Cebren “CC” Hooper, age 70, of Daingerfield, died on Sunday, May 26, 2019, in Pittsburg. Mr. Hooper was born July 14, 1948 in Eupora, Miss. to William and Wilma Shepherd Hooper.

Mr. Hooper was a retired restaurant owner and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

Mr. Hooper is survived by his wife Lisa Gay Crossland; daughter, Shelly Jackson and husband Jerry; sons, Chad Hooper and wife LaTona; Casey Hooper and Corey Hooper; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two brothers, J.W. Hooper and wife Mary; and Wayne Hooper and wife Linda; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and the mothers of his children, Sondra Nicholas and Eva Lou Holland.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Chesley Hooper; a sister, Dorothy Davis; a niece, Nita Dewood; and brother-in-law, Mark “Red” Holland.

Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the funeral home.
