Mrs. Emma “Sue” Griffin, 70, of Pittsburg, died on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019 in Tyler. Mrs. Griffin was born August 10, 1948, in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Harry and Lois Todd Copeland.

Mrs. Griffin was a retired nurse and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pittsburg.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her husband James Griffin, sons Chris McGahee and wife Cherie, Robert Quezada and wife Tammy, Ian Griffin and wife Wibke, and Nicholas Griffin and wife Erin, daughter Tanya Bradley and husband Phillip, Sherri Jones and husband Ricky, Windy Meurisse and husband Jason, numerous children she called her own, 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Carolyn Copeland, and Harriette Brice.

Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Glenn McGahee.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pittsburg at 2 p.m. with burial at Macedonia Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 501 Hill Avenue Pittsburg, TX 75686.
