Concha

Aurora Matlu Concha, 85 of Pittsburg, Texas, died Aug. 28, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Ms. Concha was born June 27, 1934, to Louis Matlu and Trinidad Palacios. She was retired from Pittsburg ISD after 18 years and was a member of Life Church in Tyler, Texas.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Concha and wife Diana, Richard Concha and wife Wanda, of Houston, and Joe L. Concha and wife Pam of Tyler; daughters, Mary Zepeda and husband Julio, Alice McElhaney and husband Len, of Pittsburg, Cyndi Beaird and husband Mike, of Tyler; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Pilar Matlu, of Rosenburg, Henry Matlu and wife Janie, and Richard Matlu, of Houston; two sisters, Amelia Tijerina, of Wharton, Belia Cortez and husband Monico, of Spring. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jose Concha.

Her services were held at Life Church in Tyler, Texas with her grandsons, Rev. Joshua McElhaney and Bro. Jonah McElhaney, officiating.
