Carpenter

Timothy Ray Carpenter, 63, of Pittsburg, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 in a Tyler hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1955, in Mount Pleasant to Hubert B. and Eunice Rayetta Morrell Carpenter.

Carpenter was employed with Schlumberger as a drilling fluids engineer, was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Messianic Jewish faith.

He is survived by his wife, Shree Ann Carpenter of Branson, M; daughters, Angela Long of Diana, Kasi Jo Carpenter of Tyler and Jennifer Rochelle Courtnay of Ozark, Mo.; sisters, Sharal Madding of Longview and Brenda Bynum of Mount Pleasant; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation and a memorial service were held Monday, Jan. 14, 2019 at Erman Smith Funeral Home with Rabbi Yochanan Eukel officiating. Interment was at 2 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at the Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Springfield, Mo. with a military honor guard.
