Larry L. Buckner died Feb. 6, 2019 after suffering another stroke. He was born Jan. 22, 1942 and retired from Lone Star Steel in 2004.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.V. Buckner; mother, Reba L. Roach Buckner; and wife, Wanda C. Bloom Buckner.
He is survived by his son, Bruce L. Buckner; daughter, T. Renee Shirley; granddaughter Brittany Shirley, granddaughter Courtney Shirley White and husband Terrance White, great-grandsons Atlas and Ever White and wife Mary Buckner.
