Mr. Bobby J. “B.J.” Simmons, 81, of Pittsburg was born February 27, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Jonathan and Grace Boswell Simmons and passed away in Tyler on April 20, 2023.
Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pittsburg with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Knights of Columbus will serve as pallbearers. The family received friends between 5 p.m.-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Knights of Columbus, 1 Columbus Plaza, New Haven, CT 06510.
