Carol Faye (Goss) Daily

Carol Faye (Goss) Daily passed away November 22, 2022. She was born April 17, 1938, in Muleshoe, Texas, but grew up in Pittsburg; graduating from Pittsburg High School in 1956.

Carol married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Gene Daily, after they met and both worked at the local movie theatre at the ages of 15 and 18. They married December 30, 1956, and were happily married 61 years, until Bobby’s passing. Carol and Bobby raised their four children in Pittsburg and Longview; retiring back to their family farm in Pittsburg. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and loved the Lord and her family so much.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents Elbert & Elsie Faye (Farrar) Goss, father in law Henry Durwood (Duddy) Daily, mother in law Willie Mae (Davis) Daily, brothers Sammy Goss and Allen Goss, sister Patricia (Goss) Disman, brother in law Kaywood Disman, and brother in law Thurman Albright.

She is survived by her four children Robby Daily, David Daily and wife Jenice Daily, Stuart Daily and Bobbie Carol (Daily) Russell. Brother Lynn Goss and wife Patti Goss, sister in law Camilla Goss and sister in law Delores (Daily) Albright. Seven grandchildren Chad Daily, Keath Lattery, Stefanie (Daily) Thompson, Jessica (Russell) Thompson, Jason Daily, Josh Daily and Matthew Russell. Twenty-four great grandchildren Kenzi, Kole, Phoebe, Emily, Austin, Caleb, Madison, Tyler, Megan, Andrew, Payton, Evan, Ezra, Brynn, Kayla, Jayme, Layne, Emma Grace, Jackson, Kaypree, Copper, Kennedy, Katie Mae and Alayna; as well as many loved nieces and nephews.

As per Carol’s wishes, a private family memorial will be held at her graveside at a later date.
