The Camp County Retired School Personnel Scholarships of 2022 were presented to Sydney Smith and Pryce Parker on May 19.
Smith plans to attend the University of Arkansas where she intends to major in pediatric nursing.
When asked about her favorite high school memory, she said that senior night in her majorette uniform is the most memorable. She is also a majorette captain, having been a member of the majorettes for six years, as well as the leader in the flute section of band.
Parker plans to attend the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and major in business and pre-law.
Parker’s most memorable moment in high school was the first football playoff game against Brownsboro. He also played golf and was a manager on the Pittsburg baseball team.
