6th grade band earns unanimous 1st division scores

The 6th Grade Band, under the direction of Danny Bishop, competed at the Soundpost Music Festival in Canton on May 16, receiving a First Division Rating from all three judges on their music selections of “Thunder Rock” by Josuweit, and “Mechanical Monsters” by Standridge. This is the first time since 2019 that the 6th grade band has accomplished this, as they were unable to attend in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. COURTESY PHOTO
