Gazette welcomes Mallory as reporter

A new face has come to the Pittsburg Gazette, as Brandon Mallory has become the paper’s newest reporter. Mallory has lived in the Pittsburg and Mount Pleasant areas for seventeen years and is a student at NTCC, where he is president of the school’s English club.

Mallory brings to the Gazette knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm.

“I am very excited to be joining the Gazette staff and look forward to working with the community,” says Mallory. “I am honored to be a part of such a great team that works so hard for the community every single day.”

Managing Editor Di Duncan said of Mallory, “I think Brandon is an excellent addition to our staff. He is focused, driven, and more than willing to do the hard work that newspaper requires. I can’t wait for the community to meet him and see what a valuable asset he is to all of Pittsburg and Camp County.”

“I am excited about having Brandon on board as a part of our team and I am already seeing things that let me know that he is going to be a good fit,” said Publisher Kenny Mitchell. “His connection to the community, and to NTCC, will help him as he goes out and about covering the things that matter to our readers. I encourage everyone to seek him out if you have a story idea or need a picture taken at an event. Help us keep him busy.”
