CASA welcomes newest advocate

CASA of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties is pleased to welcome Jessica Edwards. Edwards took an oath before the Honorable Judge Loughmiller in Camp County on May 26. Jessica completed 30 hours of training and courtroom observation to become the newest CASA Volunteer, and has accepted her first case and advocating for children that are in the foster care system. CASA volunteers work for the best interest of the child/children making sure they have a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible. CASA volunteers are citizens in our community, just like you, that want to make a difference in a child/children’s lives while they are removed from their families and placed in foster care. If you want to make a difference in a child’s life contact Krystal Hosmer at 903-717-8940 or visit www.becomeacasa.org or www.casatcm.org
