Thompson receives awards for service

As Sandy Thompson’s term as president of the Pittsburg Lions Club is wrapping up, the district Governor, Chet Garner showed up at this week’s Lions Club meeting and awarded her two awards. One was the Distinguished Leadership Award from International Lion President Dr. Jung-Yul Choi and the second was for Outstanding Leadership from the District Governor. COURTESY PHOTOS
