Rodeo goes off without a hitch
Pittsburg’s annual rodeo was a record-breaking success. According to Colt Hall, the event saw the highest ever numbers of contestants, spectators, and sponsors.
More than 300 contestants from 15 states and two different countries competed, and the Pittsburg Rodeo Association paid out over $33,700 in prizes.
“Overall our rodeo was a huge success; we were very very fortunate that we dodged the rain all 3 nights of the rodeo. We were very disappointed that we weren’t able to have our annual handicapable rodeo but look forward to 2022 for our 30th anniversary for the handicapable rodeo as well as our 60th anniversary regular rodeo,” said Hall. “Also we will be having our annual bull riding October 2nd so mark your calendars!”
