LAWTON

Mrs. Janet Louise Lawton, age 84, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, in Mt. Pleasant. She was born January 26, 1936, to Jesse and Elsie Wullschleger Holcombe in Tyler, Texas.

Mrs. Lawton was a homemaker, a nurse, and of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Lawton and wife Elizabeth of Pittsburg; Scott Lawton and wife Sandy of Forney; grandchildren, Jeff Lawton, Samantha Lawton, Drew Lawton, and Mary Claire Lawton; sisters, Mary Frances Lindsay and husband William of Paris; and Freida Langston and husband John of Rockwall.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis Lawton; her parents, Jesse Holcombe and Elsie Wullschleger Karlen; stepdad, Frank Karlen and stepmother, Ruth Holcombe.

Services were held 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 3rd at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with visitation prior to the service.
