Funeral services for Pocahontas Belcher were on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 P.M.with Bro. Roy Ford officiating. Visitation was one hour prior to service from 11:00-12:00. Pallbearers will be: Robert Smith, Randall Smith, Kobe Smith, Kutter Smith, Karter Smith, Mickey Salinas, and Eugene Scott. Honorary Pallbearers will be Austin Cravens and Colton Cravens.

Pocahontas Belcher, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 in Texarkana, Texas.

Pocahontas was born in Pittsburg, Texas on January 4, 1932 to Charles Mason French and Lola Mae Banks French. She married Lewis Belcher.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lewis Belcher.

Pocahontas is survived by her sons, Larry Smith and wife Beverly of Bristow, Oklahoma, David Smith and wife Leta of Hooks, Texas; Sister, Charlie Nell of Tyler, Texas; grandsons, Robert Smith and wife Shelly, Reggie Smith, Randall Smith and wife April; granddaughter, Laurie Smith. 9 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
