Virginia Nell Alpha, age 66, of Pittsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019, in Pittsburg at her home. Virginia was born February 28, 1953, to Willie Davis and Virgie Jarrell Thedford in Fairfield, Texas.

Virginia retired from The Sweet Shop and was a Baptist.

She is survived by her son; Scotty Alpha of Pittsburg, and daughter; Melissa Alpha Reeves of Longview, her mother; Virgie Thedford and husband Charles of Pittsburg her father; Willie Davis and wife Gloria of Victoria, her half-sister; Heather Welch of Seabrook, step-sister’s; Denice Bednar of Pittsburg and Michelle Davis of Victoria, step-brother; Michael Davis of Victoria, and her grandchildren; Amberly Gaines and husband Christopher of Mt. Vernon, Jett Reeves, and Jagger Reeves of Longview, and her great-grandchild; Caden Gaines of Mt. Vernon.

She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Lee Alpha.

Graveside Services were held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Matinburg Cemetery in Camp County.

ia was an at home mom until they moved to Texas in 1992. She began grooming dogs and built her own business. She did this until she was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. Her granddaughter, Krystalyn Holt, was born March 7, 2006.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her spouse, Louie Holt.

She is survived by her only daughter, Marissa Holt; granddaughter, Krystalyn Holt, sister, Linda Wolfe, and other family and friends.
