At a recent meeting of the Pittsburg Lions Club, Alethea Pearson with God’s Closet was guest speaker. Pearson shared the ways God’s Closet helps members of Camp County by food or monetary donations.
The Pittsburg High School Interact Club students visited the Rotary Club last week on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Sponsored by Lee Davis, the club’s officers are Cadence Parker, President; Carrie Karen, Vice President; J’Alyssa Johnson, Treasurer; and Mia Soto. Secretary.
On Thursday, February 13, the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District (NETMWD) came out with an official statement, saying that they are in discussions with the North Texas Water District regarding the sale or lease of excess water from Lake O’ the Pines.
